Foundry Tours

Experience the art of bronze casting firsthand with a tour of Kalispell Art Foundry. Visitors are invited to explore our working fine art foundry and discover the many steps involved in transforming an artist’s original sculpture into a finished bronze—from mold making and wax work to ceramic shell, casting, metal finishing, and patina.

Foundry tours are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with Saturday and Sunday tours available by appointment. For an especially memorable experience, plan your visit around one of our bronze pours, held at 10:00 AM Monday through Friday. Watch our foundry crew work together as molten bronze is poured at temperatures exceeding 2,000°F and see one of the most dramatic stages of the lost-wax casting process in action.
