At Kalispell Art Foundry, we create bronze urns designed to be more than a place of remembrance. Each urn is a lasting work of art, cast in bronze and finished by hand by the craftsmen and artists at our Montana foundry.

Our bronze urns are available in a wide variety of sizes, designs, colors, and patinas, allowing families to select a memorial that reflects the life, interests, personality, or surroundings of someone they wish to remember.

Sculptural Designs

Our urns can range from simple, traditional forms to highly sculptural works of art. Designs may incorporate wildlife, landscapes, flowers, leaves, mountains, rivers, religious imagery, or other meaningful elements.

Popular themes can include bears, elk, moose, trout, eagles, pinecones, mountain landscapes, floral designs, crosses, and abstract sculptural forms. We can also develop an entirely new design around a particular subject or idea.

Because we are a full-service bronze foundry, sculptural elements can become part of the urn itself rather than simply being engraved or applied to its surface. Relief sculpture, dimensional wildlife, decorative lids, sculpted finials, and flowing organic forms can all be incorporated into the design.

Bronze Patinas & Colors

Every bronze urn is individually finished, giving each piece its own character. Traditional brown and bronze patinas offer a timeless appearance, while our patina artists can also create rich colors including:

Deep red and burgundy
Blue and turquoise
Verdigris and green
Black and dark bronze
Warm traditional browns
Polished and highlighted bronze
Multi-color and specialty finishes

Colored patinas can be combined with polished bronze details to highlight sculptural elements such as leaves, wildlife, crosses, lettering, or decorative borders.

Bronze urns can be produced in a range of sizes, from small keepsake pieces to full-size memorial urns. Designs can also be created as companion urns or coordinated sets for families who would like several matching memorial pieces.

Since our urns are created through the bronze casting process, many designs can be offered in multiple sizes while maintaining the character and detail of the original sculpture.

Personalized & Custom Bronze Urns

For families looking for something truly personal, Kalispell Art Foundry can create a custom bronze urn from an idea, photograph, drawing, or meaningful subject.

A custom design might feature a favorite animal, mountain range, fish, flower, religious symbol, landscape, profession, hobby, or another element connected to the person's life. Names, dates, inscriptions, plaques, and other personalized details can also be incorporated into the finished piece.

From the initial sculpture through molding, bronze casting, metal finishing, patina, and final assembly, the work can be completed through our foundry.
